With over 100 international awards, and distinctions including Double Master of WPPI / ICON Awards, Master of The Portrait Masters, and Fellow of The Societies of Photographers, I’ve spent over a decade deeply involved in the world of photography competitions.
I’ve competed.
I’ve failed.
I’ve learned.
I’ve won.
And today, I also judge international competitions at the highest level.
And I keep on learning…
Sometimes when judging, an image comes up at first I go “WOW” and then as I get closer, I see many common mistakes that made that incredible “WOW” image score low. It makes me sad. And it´s frustrating when something had that incredible potential.. BUT it also makes want to share my knowledge and to coach others for success and growth.
